Kulima directors in Addis Ababa to identify agricultural adaptation best practices

workshop discussionsDr Katharine Vincent and Ms Tracy Cull are in Addis Ababa this week to meet with national experts from Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Togo and Zambia. Agricultural adaptations have been assessed in these five countries and South Africa for a variety of different commodity types and farming systems. The project, managed by Kulima and UNIQUE Landuse and Forestry, is part of the GIZ support to the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme, and will provide an outline of agricultural adaptation best practices based on the empirical findings. This meeting will compare findings to date and allow identification of best practices that apply in a variety of farming types and country contexts.
