Kulima director in Malawi to continue UMFULA research

MalawiDr Katharine Vincent is in Malawi this week, working with colleagues on the UMFULA (Uncertainty Reduction in Models for Understanding Development Applications) project. UMFULA is part of the Future Climate for Africa programme, and concerned with improving the use of climate information in decision-making. Team members from Kulima and Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources are continuing research into the evolving institutional architecture for addressing climate change in Malawi, and the development of timelines of policies in climate-sensitive sectors. They are also commencing preparations for this year's UMFULA annual meeting, which will be held in November in Malawi, and accompanied by a number of targeted stakeholder activities.
