Today Dr Katharine Vincent and Ms Tracy Cull presented the finding of their Future Climate for Africa Malawi pilot case study findings at the Africa Climate and Development Initiative at the University of Cape Town. In the seminar they highlighted findings on the use of weather and climate information in medium term (5-40 year) decision-making in Malawi, and reflected on the methodology of national level workshops (reported elsewhere in a blog for the Climate and Development Knowledge Network). Their presentation was followed by Dr Chris Jack from the Climate Systems Analyis Group, who compared and contrasted the co-exploration approach taken by their pilot case study, which compared the coastal cities of Accra (Ghana) and Maputo (Mozambique).
