Dr Katharine Vincent has been nominated to act as a Lead Author for the Technical Summary of Working Group 2 (Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation) of the forthcoming IPCC Fifth Assessment Report. The Technical Summary distills key messages from all the chapters into a short document that is accessible to a wide range of users. The drafting process will begin shortly, and authors will next meet at the 3rd Lead Authors Meeting for WG2 in Buenos Aires in October. Katharine is a Lead Author on the Rural Areas chapter, and a Contributing Author to the Africa chapter.
