Kulima is pleased to have joined the consortium of partners that delivers the annual Adaptation Academy. Designed to equip decision-makers with the information and tools required to effectively adapt to climate change, the academy comprises two main stages: a four-week foundation course to take place in Cape Town from 11 July to 5 August 2011; followed by a longer term period of contract learning depending on each participant’s needs and interests. The academy is run by the Global Climate Adaptation Partnership, in conjunction with the Climate Systems Analysis Group at the University of Cape Town, Stockholm Environment Institute, and START Secretariat. Kulima will be particularly involved with teaching vulnerability assessment on the foundation course.
