CLIVAR
A presentation on “CLIVAR Working Group on Seasonal to Interannual Prediction with the World Meteorological Organisation: The case of Regional Climate Outlook Fora” was made by Dr Willem Landman and Dr Alec Joubert at the 14th meeting of the CLIVAR Working Group on Seasonal to Interannual Prediction, held from 12-14th September in Trieste, Italy. The presentation included recommendations arising out of the recent SARCOF-15 in Windhoek, Namibia, from a session facilitated by Dr Alec Joubert as part of the USAID-funded CSIR-Kulima-UCT project on building capacity among planners in the SADC region to use climate information in their decision-making.
