Kulima has organised the Africa Climate Change Resilience Alliance (ACCRA) Regional Conference, taking place in Nairobi from 26-28th September. ACCRA is an ambitious consortium (Oxfam, Care, World Vision, Save the Children and ODI) working to improve global understanding of adaptive capacity and promote disaster risk reduction, social protection and climate change adaptation in Ethiopia, Uganda and Mozambique. The conference will bring together over 60 policymakers, civil society representatives and other key actors, including Uganda’s Ministers for Disaster Preparedness, Environment and Local Government and high level government representatives from Ethiopia and Mozambique, to identify common solutions to the challenges posed by climate change.
