Kulima is proud to be part of a new project: Stakeholder-driven climate services for South Africa (STADCLIM-SA). STADCLIM-SA takes place under the Newton Fund Weather and Climate Science for Service Partnership South Africa (WCSSP South Africa). WCSSP South Africa is a scientific collaboration between the UK and South Africa that aims to strengthen the resilience of South Africa and the UK to weather and climate variability and change.
The project is co-led by HR Wallingford, Kulima Integrated Development Solutions, and the University of Cape Town’s Climate System Analysis Group (CSAG). Over the course of the next 9 months, the project team will work with the WCSSP steering committee to investigate user needs for climate services across a number of sectors, with the intention of informing the implementation of the National Framework for Climate Services.
